Birmingham's 'Power of the Hijab' sculpture: A symbol of diversity and inclusion.

LONDON, Birmingham, Sept 27, (Agencies): The city of Birmingham, UK, is preparing to unveil the final form of a sculpture named "The Power of the Hijab" in October. This sculpture, designed by the renowned British artist Luke Perry, is believed to be the first of its kind in the world, celebrating Muslim women who wear the hijab, according to the BBC.

Luke Perry is working on completing this sculpture, which is 6 meters tall and weighs approximately one ton, made of iron. Initial images of the work depict a veiled woman with a message that reads, "Every woman has the right to be loved and respected, regardless of the attire she chooses to wear; her true strength is in her heart and mind."

According to the BBC, the British artist was commissioned to create this work by the "Midlands West Legacy" foundation, a registered charity that celebrates the heritage of immigrant communities in Birmingham, the second-largest city in the UK, following World War II.
