Unidentified person attempts to escape after stabbing compatriot

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: A young man has been placed in custody following his arrest before he could flee the country after stabbing his compatriot twice in the abdomen and one in the leg in a suburb of Mangaf, reports Al-Anba daily. The bleeding victim was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Al-Adan Hospital where doctors performed a surgery to save his life.

According to a security source, the suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, entered the courtyard of the residential building where the victim lived and carried out the heinous crime. He was subsequently arrested at the Nuwaiseeb port while attempting to leave the country. The source disclosed that the altercation stemmed from previous disputes.
