Undocumented Egyptians to be shifted to Kabd quarantine facility

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 11: The government agencies are currently working to prepare the Ministry of Education camp located in the Kabd area to shift violators of residence from the Egyptian community as soon as possible.

The camp is being equipped as a quarantine with equipped with all facilities to accommodate about 9,000 people with separate rooms. The Ministry of Interior took possession over the camp last week.

KOC is currently preparing a facility and Ministry of Electricity is responsible for delivering the current one as electrical work including digging of 4 kilometers of ground cables, which will be done as soon as possible to make the place ready to accommodate undocumented Egyptian expats until they travel to their country.

Meanwhile the prosecutor's office for two days in a row opened extensive investigations with the officer accused of human trafficking and residency, after his referral by the Ministry of Interior, and decided to continue his detention and 6 other defendants from the Egyptian community.
