KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Fahd Al-Shoula, revealed there are some employees in the legal department who collected about 60,000 Kuwaiti Dinars in the form of housing allowance in spite of them obtaining a house, reports Al-Rai daily. This happened because they have failed to update their data in this regard.

He stressed that “the municipality follows up on the observations made by the Audit Bureau on a regular basis, and works to avoid them, and in this regard, a committee has been formed by the municipality to respond to the observations made by the Audit Bureau.

It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Shula had recently issued a decision to organize and determine the mechanism for disbursing housing allowance and updating the data of the municipality employees.
