KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: In a swift and carefully orchestrated operation, security forces apprehended an Asian national caught red-handed selling locally produced liquor in the Jaber Al-Ahmad area. The arrest came after authorities received a tip-off about an illicit distillery distributing liquor for quick, illegal profits.

According to a security source, investigators acted promptly to verify the information. An undercover agent, working under close supervision, arranged to purchase a quantity of the illegal liquor. At the pre-arranged time, the suspect was seen delivering the bottles to the agent and was immediately taken into custody upon the agreed signal.

The source confirmed that authorities seized 49 bottles of water containing the locally made liquor. The suspect, along with the confiscated items, has been referred to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
