KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: The General Environment Authority, through its judicial officers and in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, carried out an inspection campaign in the southern region near Nuwaiseeb. The operation aimed to verify compliance with environmental regulations and ensure adherence to Articles 40 and 41 of the Environmental Protection Law.
During the campaign, several environmental violations were recorded, including the use of construction materials harmful to the natural environment and the establishment of unauthorized grazing activities in areas not designated for grazing. The Authority stressed the importance of complying with the Environmental Protection Law and its executive regulations to safeguard the environment in the State of Kuwait.
