KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: The World Summit Awards (WSA), a United Nations initiative, has selected the “Al-Hisba” digital real estate platform to represent the State of Kuwait in the Business and Trade Category for the 2025 awards, recognizing its contribution to developing digital real estate solutions and strengthening transparency in the local market.
Khaled Al-Otaibi, General Manager of Al-Hisba, told KUNA that the nomination is a national achievement reflecting the confidence of government bodies and the financial sector in the accuracy of the platform’s data. He noted that Al-Hisba has rapidly emerged as one of Kuwait’s most influential digital tools in a short period of time.
Al-Otaibi added that the platform’s selection demonstrates Kuwait’s growing presence in the technology and innovation sector and enhances its global image as a country capable of producing competitive digital solutions at both regional and international levels.
Co-founder Ahmad Al-Luhaib said the nomination resulted from building a technological system based on big data and smart algorithms, which has improved the accuracy of real estate decision-making. He emphasized the platform’s continued efforts to develop analytical tools that support investors, individuals, and decision-makers.
Deputy General Manager Eng. Muneera Al-Mutairi said the WSA nomination affirms the quality of Al-Hisba’s digital services, which rely on reliable and comprehensive data. She noted that the platform is working to expand its offerings by developing unified Gulf solutions that include auctions, real estate data, maps, and property valuations.
Founded in 2018 by specialists in real estate, banking, and technology, Al-Hisba is the first Kuwaiti application to provide digital services for real estate transactions, auctions, property analysis, and valuation.
The World Summit Awards, part of the UN’s World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) program, select and promote outstanding digital innovations that deliver societal impact and advance the Sustainable Development Goals. With participation from more than 180 countries, WSA operates through national committees that nominate projects for evaluation by international experts, serving as a global platform for showcasing high-impact digital content.
