SEOUL, Apr 15: The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency has urged the inclusion of “very detailed” verification measures in any agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the ongoing conflict.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in Seoul that Iran’s extensive nuclear program would require a strong and continuous presence of international inspectors.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump said a second round of talks with Iran could take place within days, as Washington maintains that preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons remains a central objective.

Iran, for its part, denies pursuing nuclear weapons but has rejected restrictions on its nuclear activities, highlighting ongoing challenges in reaching a deal.
