UK signs deal to send asylum seekers to Rwanda

LONDON, April 14: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Thursday an agreement with Rwanda on a relocation plan for illegal asylum seekers in the UK. In a speech, Johnson stated that the deal they agreed on is unmapped and Rwanda will have the capacity to resettle tens of thousands of people in the years ahead, adding that Britain would contribute an initial 500 million pounds (USD 656 million).

Johnson added, “From today the Royal Navy will take over operational command from Border Force in the Channel, with the aim that no boat makes it to the UK undetected.” In a report by (BBC), the UK government is expected to face legal problems upon implementing the agreement with Human Rights organizations.
