UK Conducts Defensive Air Operations in Jordan, Bahrain, and UAE

LONDON, Mar 10: The UK Ministry of Defence reported that overnight, RAFTyphoon jets successfully destroyed an uncrewed aerial system while defending Jordan and intercepted a drone heading toward Bahrain. The UK has also begun conducting defensive air sorties in support of the United Arab Emirates. Additional air operations experts have been deployed to the Gulf to provide accurate airspace monitoring and assist regional partners. To further strengthen defensive capabilities, Wildcat helicopters have arrived at UK bases in Cyprus, along with a Merlin helicopter to enhance the detection of aerial threats.
