UIM ABP-Aquabike World Championship 2021 concludes

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The second round of the UIM ABP-Aquabike World Championship (2021) concluded its activities at the Marina Beach in the State of Kuwait yesterday. In the second and final round of the two-day championship, the French participant Jeremy Perez won the first place in the senior pro (seated) category, followed by Kuwaiti Youssef Al-Abdul- Razzaq and then Portuguese Alejandro Molina. The UAE’s team “Victory” member Kevin Ritterer won first place in the “Standing Senior Professional – Men” competition, the Spanish participant Nacho Armillas came second, and Anders Keeler from Denmark came third.

The Swedish contestant Jonah Burgström won first place in the competition, followed by her compatriot Emanelli, and then the Estonian Jasmine Yabras third. In the Freestyle category, the Emirati contestant Rashid Al Mulla came first, followed by the Italian Roberto Mariani and the Portuguese Paulonones. In this regard, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Marine Sports Club Mohammed Al-Zanki said in a press statement, “The State of Kuwait was able to present the championship in an optimal way and proved its worth in hosting this important international forum. The contestants displayed outstanding levels of performance from the beginning of the race to the end. The enthusiastic atmosphere prevailed in the various categories of competitions among some of the best water bike racers in the world”.
