UAE's Ras Al Khaimah Shuts All Public Beaches Until Further Notice

RAS AL KHAIMAH, Oct 24: Authorities in Ras Al Khaimah have ordered the immediate closure of all public beaches across the emirate until further notice, urging residents and visitors to stay away from coastal areas.

The Public Services Department of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKPSD), in coordination with Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters, announced the temporary closure as a precautionary measure to safeguard public safety.

In a joint notice circulated through their official social media channels, the authorities called on the public to comply with the instructions and safety guidelines and refrain from visiting the affected coastal areas until further notice.

The closure applies to all public beaches across Ras Al Khaimah and took effect immediately. Authorities have not announced a date for reopening the beaches.

The public has been advised to follow the official channels of Ras Al Khaimah Police (@rakpoliceghq) and the Public Services Department (@rakpsd) for updates on the closure and the resumption of beach access.

The authorities thanked residents and visitors for their cooperation and understanding, stressing the importance of following official safety instructions during the temporary closure.
