UAE Tops, Kuwait Follows: The Most Powerful Passports Revealed

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: According to the Henley Passport Index, the Kuwaiti passport has been ranked the third most powerful in the Arab world and 50th globally, granting its holders visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 100 destinations.

Leading the Arab world, the United Arab Emirates holds the 8th position globally, with access to 184 countries without the need for a prior visa, making it one of the most powerful passports in the world.

Qatar ranks second in the Arab region and 47th globally, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 112 countries.

Saudi Arabia comes in fourth among Arab nations and 54th worldwide, with its citizens able to travel to 91 destinations without a pre-arranged visa.

Bahrain is ranked fifth in the Arab world and 55th globally, with access to 90 countries, while Oman holds sixth place regionally and 56th place globally, with visa-free access to 88 destinations.

Top 10 countries are, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Spain while Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Sweden were placed on 5th spot

At the lower end of the global rankings are passports from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Nepal, Libya, Palestine, Bangladesh, and Eritrea, which offer their holders the least travel freedom.
