UAE to Resume In-Person Classes Across Schools from April 20

ABU DHABI, Apr 15: The Ministry of Education UAE has announced the resumption of in-person learning for all students, teachers, and administrative staff in public and private nurseries, kindergartens, and schools across the country starting Monday, April 20, 2026.

The decision follows the completion of readiness measures by schools, including facility preparations, staff training, and updated safety and security protocols to ensure a safe learning environment. Private schools will also have the flexibility to adopt a hybrid rotational model when necessary, in line with approved regulations and under the supervision of local education authorities.
