UAE Schools, Nurseries to Resume Classroom Learning Nationwide

ABU DHABI, May 10: The UAE Ministry of Education has announced the resumption of in-person learning for all students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel across public and private schools and nurseries, effective Monday, May 11, 2026.

The ministry said the decision follows continuous monitoring of recent developments and coordination with relevant authorities, aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of the educational process and academic assessments.

It affirmed that educational institutions are committed to implementing approved safety and security protocols to support the smooth conduct of schooling, while maintaining readiness to switch to alternative learning models if required based on future developments and assessments.

The ministry also confirmed ongoing coordination with schools and nurseries to ensure an orderly return to classroom learning, noting that any further updates will be communicated through official channels.
