ABU DHABI, March 13: The Ministry of Defence (United Arab Emirates) said casualties in the United Arab Emirates have risen to 141 since the start of what it described as Iranian attacks on the country.
According to the ministry, UAE air defence systems have engaged 285 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,567 drones (UAVs) launched from Iran since the beginning of the attacks.
The ministry added that on Friday alone, UAE air defences intercepted 7 ballistic missiles and 27 drones launched toward the country.
Authorities said the armed forces remain vigilant as defensive operations continue to protect the country’s airspace and infrastructure amid the ongoing regional tensions.
