ABU DHABI, May 4: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that four cruise missiles launched from Iran toward various areas across the UAE were detected by air defence systems. Three missiles were successfully intercepted over the country’s territorial waters, while a fourth fell into the sea without causing damage.
Authorities confirmed that the loud sounds heard in different parts of the country were the result of air defence systems actively engaging incoming threats. The ministry urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to strictly follow safety procedures when warning alerts are issued.
