ABU DHABI, Apr 3: The UAE Ministry of Defence said its air defences intercepted 18 ballistic missiles, 4 cruise missiles, and 47 drones launched from Iran on April 3, 2026, as part of continuing attacks targeting the country.
According to the ministry, since the start of the escalation, UAE forces have intercepted a total of 475 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 2,085 drones, while remaining on high alert to counter further threats and safeguard national security.
The ministry also reported casualties from the ongoing attacks, including members of the armed forces, civilian contractors, and multiple civilians of various nationalities, with 203 people injured to varying degrees, and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
