ABU DHABI, Mar 10: missiles and 35 drones targeting the country on March 10, with eight missiles destroyed and one falling into the sea. Of the drones detected, 26 were intercepted while nine fell within the country’s territory.
Since the start of what the ministry described as Iranian aggression, a total of 262 ballistic missiles have been detected, with 241 intercepted, 19 falling into the sea, and two landing within the country. Authorities also reported detecting 1,475 drones, of which 1,385 were intercepted while 90 fell inside the country. Eight cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed.
The attacks have resulted in six deaths involving nationals from the UAE, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, while 122 people sustained minor to moderate injuries from various nationalities.
The ministry said the armed forces remain on high alert and ready to confront any threats, stressing that measures are in place to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, security and stability while protecting its national interests.
