ABU DHABI, March 20: The UAE State Security Service has announced the dismantling of a terrorist network allegedly funded and managed by Hezbollah and Iran, confirming the arrest of its members.

According to officials, the network operated within the UAE under the cover of a legitimate business, with the aim of infiltrating the national economy and carrying out foreign-backed plans that posed a threat to financial stability.

Authorities said the group acted under a pre-planned strategy in coordination with external parties linked to Hezbollah and Iran, violating laws related to money laundering, terrorism financing, and national security.

The State Security Service emphasized that any attempt to exploit the national economy or civilian institutions for terrorist or subversive purposes will be met with firm and decisive action. It also stressed that the UAE will not tolerate any foreign interference that threatens its security and stability.

Investigations are ongoing.
