UAE Deals With 10 Missiles, 26 Drones Amid Ongoing Iranian Attacks

ABU DHABI, Mar 12: The UAE Ministry of Defense reported on March 12, 2026, that its air defense systems successfully intercepted 10 ballistic missiles and 26 drones launched from Iran.

Since the start of the ongoing Iranian aggression, UAE defenses have dealt with 278 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,540 drones, according to officials.

The attacks have resulted in six fatalities among Emirati, Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationals, and 131 cases of minor and moderate injuries affecting citizens and residents from over 30 nationalities, including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and others.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed that UAE forces remain on high alert, prepared to confront any threats to national security, sovereignty, and stability, while protecting the country’s interests and capabilities.
