UAE Condemns ‘Treacherous’ Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks

ABU DHABI, May 4: The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as renewed “treacherous” Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting civilian sites across the country, which left three Indian nationals injured.

In an official statement, the ministry said the attacks represent a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter, posing a direct threat to the UAE’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. The United Arab Emirates stressed that it will not compromise on protecting its sovereignty and reserves the full right to respond in accordance with international law.

The statement also underscored that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure is condemned under all legal and humanitarian standards, calling for an immediate halt to hostilities and full adherence to ceasefire commitments. The UAE held Iran fully responsible for the attacks and their consequences.
