RIYADH, Jun 16: Riyadh Region Police have arrested two Saudi citizens accused of carrying out a shop robbery and stealing money while using a machete.
According to the Criminal Investigation Department of Riyadh Region Police, the suspects were identified after appearing in a video footage that showed them allegedly committing the criminal act.
Police said the two individuals were taken into custody, and initial legal procedures have been completed before they were referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to tracking down offenders, maintaining public security and taking legal measures against anyone involved in criminal activities.
