Two Romanian women on ‘visit’ held for prostitution

KUWAIT CITY, April 8: Two Romanian women, who arrived in Kuwait on visit visas, have been arrested and referred for deportation for committing prostitution. According to security sources, when Head of General Department for Criminal Security Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabakh received information from reliable sources about two foreign women seducing young and old men in various commercial complexes to pay them $100 for one hour and $500 for a night to sleep with them, he formed a security team.

The team placed the two women under surveillance and discovered they were staying in one of the hotels. After collecting necessary information, an undercover agent was sent to the girls. After they agreed on the payment for the immoral activities, the two women were arrested.

Securitymen checked their documents to discover they are Romanians who arrived in Kuwait on visit visas. They confessed that their intention was to leave the country after earning some money through prostitution. The suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for deportation procedures in accordance with the orders of Major General Al-Tabakh.
