KUWAIT CITY, July 25: The Public Prosecution is currently conducting investigations with two Kuwaiti citizens who are accused of harboring one of the members of Abdali cell and falsifying a travel document for him, reports Aljarida daily.

According to informed sources, the 16 defendants in the “Abdali cell” case are at large and being tracked down by security authorities pursuant to the ruling of the Court of Cassation.

Investigations revealed that one of the two detained Kuwaitis is responsible for forging a passport in the name of one of the convicts in order to facilitate his escape from the country.

The sources revealed that security authorities interrogated more than six citizens over allegations of harboring the convicts but eventually discovered that they were not involved.

Measures are being taken by Ministry of Interior to search the houses that are suspected of sheltering the convicts based on permission from the prosecution.
