Two Kuwaiti riders star in UAE Jet Ski Marathon

ABU DHABI, Nov 12: Kuwait’s Ahmad Al-Dawas took the second place in the Veteran category, while his son, Rashid Al-Dawas, also won the second place in the GP category for professionals in the first round of the UAE Jet Ski Marathon Championship in the capital Abu Dhabi, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.

In a press statement Saturday, Al-Dawas said that the competitions of the round were exciting and about 40 competitors from UAE and the Gulf participated, adding that he and Rashid will continue to participate in the rest of the rounds. The second round of the championship is slated for November 20 in Ajman, while the third round will be held on December 3 in Abu Dhabi, then the fourth and final round on December 11 in Abu Dhabi, he stated. He has great hope for winning the titles, underscoring the strong presence of Kuwait in this tournament. (KUNA)
