KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The Criminal Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior has referred to the Public Prosecution three employees of the Ministry of Health — two of them Kuwaitis — and are looking for the fourth for selling ‘sick leave certificates’ reports Al-Anba daily. The two female employees who are tasked with entering the data in the computer system allegedly prepared the reports themselves instead of a doctor while the third stamped these reports. After the reports were seized it turned out that these reports bore the stamp of the doctor working in the Adan Hospital, but the seal is said to be old and was cancelled in 2017.

The daily added, the concerned authorities are calculating the money these people may have ‘earned’ by their illegal activity and also looking for the beneficiaries who may have benefited from this illegal ‘trade’. The name the fourth member of the gang who is absconding has been circulated among the security authorities for his arrest.
