TEHRAN, Jun 30: Two members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed and two others injured in a shooting that Iranian authorities described as a "terrorist" attack in western Kermanshah province, state broadcaster IRIB reported on Tuesday.

The attack occurred on Monday evening in Paveh County, near Iran's border with Iraq, when unidentified gunmen opened fire at the entrance of a house, according to a statement from the IRGC's Public Relations Office in Kermanshah province.

The two men killed were identified only as local IRGC members. Two other individuals were wounded in the incident.

The IRGC said an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the shooting and identify those responsible. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
