Two Held in Capital Drug Case, Heroin Syringes Recovered

Kuwait strengthens fight against narcotics with new legislation.

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: Patrols from the Capital Governorate’s support unit recently arrested two individuals in possession of eight syringes containing heroin, ready for use, along with other quantities of narcotics, cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales, and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, the suspects were taken into custody along with the seized items and transferred to the Drug Control General Department to complete the investigation, uncover their network of associates, and take the necessary legal measures before referring them to the appropriate authorities.
