Two Drones Hit US Embassy in Riyadh, 8 Drones Neutralized Near Riyadh and Al Kharj

RIYADH, Mar 3: The US Embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones, causing a minor fire and limited material damage, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday, citing preliminary findings.

Speaking to NewsNation, US President Donald Trump said a response to the attack — and to the deaths of US military personnel during the Iran conflict — would be announced soon.

In a separate statement, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed eight drones near the capital, Riyadh, and in the city of Al Kharj.
