KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: Kuwait Fire Force responded to a tragic accident early Tuesday at a building under construction in the Al-Rai area, where the sudden collapse of a wall claimed the lives of two workers at the site.

According to authorities, firefighting teams from the Shuwaikh Industrial Fire Station, along with search and rescue and support units, were immediately dispatched to the location upon receiving the emergency call. On arrival, the teams carried out swift operations to secure the area, prevent further structural collapses, and ensure the safety of other workers and the surrounding site.

Rescue efforts were undertaken amid difficult conditions at the construction site, but the two victims were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the incident. Firefighters continued their work by stabilizing the remaining parts of the structure and clearing debris to eliminate any additional risks.

After completing their emergency response and safety measures, the firefighting teams handed over the site to the relevant authorities. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact causes of the wall collapse and to assess whether safety regulations were followed at the construction site.
