KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Drug enforcement department arrested two Asians who tried to smuggle in large quantities of narcotics into Kuwait through the sea route.
Information was received about two Asians who had brought narcotics from a neighbouring country by sea with intention of trafficking. Legal permission was sought and in coordination with Coast Guards large quantities of drugs conistiting of 4 bags containing 105 kgs of hashish was found. When a search was conducted at their homes 20 kgs of hashish and a quarter kg of meth (shabu) was found. The accused confessed to their crime and were referred to authorities along with seized items to take legal measures.
