KUWAIT CITY, May 8: Farwaniya Governorate Support Patrols, acting on orders from Director General Brigadier General Mohammed Mutlaq, successfully apprehended two individuals involved in drug-related offenses. The first arrest occurred when a patrol from the Public Security Support Sector stopped a vehicle driven by a man in his forties. Upon inspection, drug paraphernalia was discovered, and the man appeared visibly nervous. Further investigation revealed a small bag containing cocaine, and the suspect was immediately transferred to the General Department for Drug Control.
In a separate incident, Farwaniya Support Patrols also apprehended an expatriate who was found in possession of a used hashish cigarette. The individual has been referred to the Anti-Narcotics Department for further legal action and is expected to be deported from Kuwait.
