KUWAIT CITY, Sep 20: An unknown person broke into a Ministry of Electricity and Water transformer in Mishref and stole two air-conditioning condensing units valued at approximately KD 1,200 A security source said the theft was discovered after the transformer door lock was broken and the door forced open. The incident was reported by the ministry’s legal representative, prompting authorities to inspect the site and document the damage and missing equipment. The Public Prosecution ordered forensic experts to examine the scene and collect evidence that could help identify the perpetrator, while detectives were tasked with investigating the case and locating the suspect. A case was registered as “Theft by Breaking and Entering,” and investigations are continuing.
