Bomb scare in mosque: The security authorities and personnel from the State Security are looking for an unknown woman wearing niqab for entering a mosque in Andalus, reports Al-Anba daily. She reportedly left behind a bag and requested the worshippers to pronounce ‘shahada’ and disappeared. Shahada is one of the five pillars of Islam and when one embraces Islam the person has to pronounce: ‘There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad (PBUH) is His messenger.’ Shahada is also uttered when a Muslim feels he/she is on deathbed. When the woman left behind the bag there was a fear that the bag may contain explosives and would mean the death of worshippers.

Woman says robbed: An unidentified Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing an unidentified woman of robbing her, reports Al-Anba daily. The Egyptian said she paid a visit to a beauty parlor a few minutes after it opened for business and a woman, who she has not seen before attacked her and escaped with KD 520 which she had with her.
