Tunisian Terror Accused Deny ISIS Charges, Seek Release in Kuwait Case

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28:  The judge overseeing the case has decided to extend the detention of the accused Tunisian, who is alleged to have orchestrated a terrorist cell. The extension is for an additional two weeks, pending further proceedings. The trio of Tunisian defendants, facing charges related to their alleged association with ISIS and involvement in hostile activities against Kuwait, vehemently denied the accusations during their appearance before the detention renewal judge. In their plea for release, the defendants asserted that they had come to Kuwait with the sole intention of working for a delivery company and categorically denied any links to ISIS. They expressed a strong desire to return to their home country as soon as possible.
