Trump Warns Iran Talks Could Lead to “Bigger Conflict” Without Deal, Urges Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Others in Abraham Accords

WASHINGTON, May 25: US President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran are “proceeding nicely” but warned that failure to reach an agreement could result in a return to conflict that would be “bigger and stronger than ever before.”

In a post on Truth Social on Monday, Trump said the outcome of talks would either produce a “great deal for all” or escalate into renewed hostilities if diplomacy fails.

He also said he had urged leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain to join the Abraham Accords as part of a broader regional settlement linked to a potential agreement with Iran. The Abraham Accords are a set of agreements aimed at normalising relations with Israel.

Trump further claimed that several leaders told him they would be “honoured” to see Iran eventually included in the accords if a deal is reached between Washington and Tehran, describing such a development as a potential turning point for the Middle East.

The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran, with Washington simultaneously seeking to broaden regional support for a wider peace framework involving multiple Arab and Islamic countries.
