WASHINGTON, Jun 7: U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Iran to halt missile fire and return to negotiations following Tehran’s reported missile launches toward Israel on Sunday, according to Fox News.
In remarks cited by Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump said Iran should stop its attacks and re-engage in diplomatic talks. “What I would suggest to Iran: You’ve shot your missiles, that’s enough. Get back to the table and make a deal,” he said.
The comments come amid heightened regional tensions following continued missile exchanges between Iran and Israel, with international calls for de-escalation growing as the conflict intensifies.
