WASHINGTON, Mar 31: A video shared early Tuesday by US President Donald Trump appears to show a powerful explosion linked to a strike near Isfahan, according to emerging reports and satellite data analysis.

The footage, posted without comment, captures a massive fireball and a series of secondary explosions—signs typically associated with detonating ammunition. The same visuals were also circulated by the HalVash, which claimed the incident occurred on the outskirts of the city.

Fire-detection data from NASA indicates that the blasts were recorded near Mount Soffeh, an area believed to host military installations. The scale and intensity of the explosions have fueled speculation of a significant strike, though no official confirmation has been issued.

Iranian authorities have yet to acknowledge the incident.

Isfahan is a strategically sensitive location, housing one of the country’s key uranium enrichment facilities. The site was previously targeted during the brief but intense June 2026 Iran–Israel conflict, when U.S. strikes reportedly hit multiple nuclear-related locations. Analysts believe portions of Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpile may be stored underground in the area.
