Trump Says Iran Agrees Not to Pursue Nuclear Weapons

WASHINGTON, Jun 3: U.S. President Donald Trump said that Iran has agreed it will not develop or possess a nuclear weapon, stating that the country’s Supreme Leader has been involved in negotiations with Washington.

In an interview with Pod Force One released on Wednesday, Trump said Iran’s leadership has been giving approval during the discussions and indicated that he may meet the Supreme Leader at a future point. The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two sides over nuclear-related concerns.
