WASHINGTON, Jun 10: US President Donald Trump has indicated that further US military strikes on Iran remain a “real option,” amid escalating tensions and ongoing geopolitical friction, according to Israeli media reports.

Citing an interview aired by Israel’s Channel 13 News, Trump reportedly said additional strikes were being considered and could resume soon if no agreement is reached with Tehran.

In separate remarks, Trump claimed that a US naval blockade has severely weakened Iran’s economy and military financing capacity. In a post on Truth Social, he said Iran is unable to pay its military or meet basic obligations, adding that the country is doing “zero business” and is “quickly becoming a failed nation.”

Describing the blockade as “the most successful blockade in the history of naval warfare,” Trump said it functions as a “steel wall,” claiming that “nothing gets through unless we want it to.”

His comments came alongside renewed accusations from the US and allied countries regarding Iran’s activities abroad.

In a joint statement, the United States and several partners condemned the actions of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Intelligence Organization, its Quds Force, and the country’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, accusing them of “lethal plotting and malign actions” across Europe.

The statement, released by the United States Department of State, said the alleged activities included targeting Jewish communities, Iranian journalists, and US interests. It warned that attempts to kill, kidnap, or intimidate individuals on foreign soil violate international norms and sovereignty, and must stop immediately.

The coalition also said some of the reported attacks were claimed by groups including Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya.

Collectively, the statements reflect rising diplomatic and security tensions between Washington and Tehran, with both rhetoric and regional security concerns continuing to intensify.
