Trump expects Bloomberg to fail in ’20 presidential bid

WASHINGTON, Nov 8 (KUNA) — US President Donald Trump said Friday the former New York Mayor and potential Democratic Party nominee Michael Bloomberg is unlikely to succeed in running for president in 2020.
Bloomberg “is not going to do well but I think he’s going to hurt (former vice president Joe) Biden actually,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

“There’s nobody I’d rather run against than little Michael. He doesn’t have the magic to do well — Little Michael will fail,” Trump said, adding that Bloomberg has “some personal problems” and that he may “spend a lot of money” on a campaign.

Bloomberg, a renowned billionaire who is wealthier than Trump, said in March that he would not run for president but his spokesperson has said he is preparing for Democratic primaries in Alabama this week.
Bloomberg could pose a real threat to Trump has first to battle against Biden and Senator Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts, in the Democratic primaries.
