KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11, (KUNA): Chairman of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi extolled the success achieved by Kuwait’s national shooting team in the Sixth Asian Shotgun Championship, which had just concluded in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. They bagged 7 gold, 4 silver and two bronze medals in the competition in which top shooters from all over Asia participated.

While receiving Kuwait’s shooting team that had returned with the Asian championship title after dominating the competition in “trap”, “double trap” and “skeet” categories, Eng Al-Otaibi affirmed that, “Kuwait’s shooting expertise is progressing based on the plan that was set very carefully to guarantee success after success in various regional and international championships”.

He praised the care and support that the field of shooting sport receives from the leadership of Kuwait, dedicating the victory of the national shooting team to Kuwait and its people.

Regarding the level of success, Eng Al-Otaibi affirmed that the Kuwaiti team succeeded in the Sixth Asian Shotgun Championship in every aspect, both technical and organizational, stressing that all elements of success and components of support were present, which rendered the team to perform well and clinch the championship title.
