KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Patrol officers affiliated with the Jahra Security Directorate have arrested three individuals who specialized in robbing expatriates posing as detectives in the Subbiya region. When the trio was arrested police found in their possession a "flasher" typically used by detectives, narcotics, and drug abuse tools.

According to a security source, the operations room of the Ministry of Interior received several reports from expatriates, indicating that three individuals in a white "American-made" car, equipped with a "flasher," had intercepted them, falsely claiming to be CID personnel looking for outlaws and robbed them of their money and cell phones. In response to the reports, patrol officers supporting the Jahra Security Directorate swiftly set a trap for the suspects and took them into custody after sealing all escape routes. Upon searching the suspects, the authorities discovered narcotic pills, bags of hashish, shabu, and drug-related paraphernalia in their possession. During the initial interrogation, the defendants confessed to robbing more than 12 expatriates after claiming to be detectives.
