Kingpin tracked to Mahboula area

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: Three people have been referred to the General Department of Drugs Control for possessing, consuming and trafficking in narcotics, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to security sources the suspects were making use of KNET to promote drugs. The arrest came after personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department received a tip-off that the suspects were trafficking in drugs.
The main suspect, 43-year-old Egyptian man, identified only Montaser S.A., was put under surveillance for some time and his house raided after taking a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution. In his apartment in Mahboula police found three large bags containing shabu, small sachets used in trafficking the drugs, a sensitive scale, KNET and money. During interrogation he admitted to trafficking in drugs and gave police the names of his accomplices Abu Al-Maati born in 1977 and Mahmoud A. born in 1975.
