DUBAI, Dec 23: A tragic incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at International City Phase 1, resulting in the loss of one resident's life and injuries to two others, as a substantial fire engulfed a medium-rise residential building, according to official reports. To ensure the residents' safety, the building was promptly evacuated, as confirmed by a Dubai Civil Defence official speaking to Khaleej Times. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene to extinguish the flames. At this time, authorities have not officially confirmed the cause of the fire.
