KUWAIT CITY, Dec 20: A three-year-old Egyptian child has died after reportedly falling into and drowning in a swimming pool in the Abdali area, according to security and medical sources.

A security source stated that the child was rushed to the Al-Abdali Clinic by his parents after being pulled from the pool. Upon arrival, the child was unconscious and showed no signs of a heartbeat, having reportedly remained submerged for approximately seven minutes.

A medical source explained that the emergency team followed established medical protocols in dealing with the case. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) efforts were carried out for around 45 minutes, during which multiple doses of adrenaline were administered in an attempt to revive the child. Despite prolonged resuscitation efforts, the child did not respond, and death was officially pronounced by the attending specialist physician.

The source added that the relevant authorities have been informed of the incident and are awaiting the arrival of the forensic evidence team to complete the necessary procedures. Further legal and investigative measures will be taken in accordance with established protocols.
