Traffic rule of confiscating number plates challenged

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Some activists have allegedly challenged the decision issued by the General Traffic Department to withdraw the car plate numbers of vehicles disrupting traffic flow in line with Article 42 of the traffic law, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added the activists have organized a campaign and are calling on the motorists to use the super glue to make it difficult for the authorities to remove the number plates.
However, according to a circular which has been issued by the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Ministry Interior Major-General Fahd Al- Shuwea the vehicles will be impounded for a maximum of two months
