Traffic policeman assaulted by a Kuwaiti

KUWAIT CITY, July 2: Police have detained for interrogation an unidentified Kuwaiti for refusing to show his ID and insulting a traffic policeman and causing injuries to another policeman during a vain attempt to escape and causing him slight injuries, reports Al-Anba daily.

This happened when the suspect was driving recklessly in Shuwaikh and he was ordered to stop. When an officer asked for the driver’s license and his ID, he refused and insulted the officer.

The daily added, the two young women who were in the car with the suspect were let go, but they may be summoned for interrogation if need be to know the facts from beginning to end. A case of insulting a public servant has been filed against the suspect. He is detained at the Shuwaikh Police Station
