KUWAIT CITY, June 25: The buildup of sand caused by recent dust storms on Kuwait’s Umm Safaq–Wafra Road led to significant traffic disruptions, prompting the swift intervention of authorities to clear the road and ensure motorists' safety.

Several drivers described the situation as hazardous, noting that the heavy sand made it nearly impossible to distinguish the road from the surrounding terrain. This severely impaired visibility and control, increasing the risk of accidents.
